ABOUT ACDI/VOCA

About the Philippine Coffee quality competition

Over the past two years, the Department of Agriculture (DA), the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), ACDI/VOCA, BCAA, and most recently, the Philippine Coffee Guild (PCG), have successfully staged the Philippine Coffee Quality Competition (PCQC).

Despite significant progress in recent years, the Philippine coffee sector remains in need of support to realize its full potential and deliver improved livelihood opportunities to farmers throughout the country. PhilCAFE is building on the the success of the Mindanao Productivity in Agricultural Commerce and Trade (MinPACT) project and capitalizing on ACDI/VOCA’s extensive network and reputation from working in tree crops and other sectors in the Philippines for over 25 years.
